In response to the request from the Joint Committee at its 22nd Meeting in August 2005, the MRC Secretariat requested to report on routine monitoring of the hydrological situation in the Lower Mekong Basin (LMB). The report presented hydrological conditions focused in wet season and dry season in the Lower Mekong Basin (LMB).
A briefing note on hydrological situation in the Lower Mekong Basin (LMB) was prepared for the Joint Committee and Council Meetings of the MRC Secretariat, focused on conditions throughout the low flow and high flow seasons during the onset and off-set of the South-West and North-West Monsoon and the start of the annual flood season. An analysis on water level probability attempts to illustrate the hydrological high and low flow condition. The analysis is based upon the most recent data available compared to historical hydrological and meteorological conditions.
